InspektAI
Not a checklist. The car's whole story.

Other inspections tell you if the car is okay. We tell you what it's hiding.

What is wrong, what it will cost you, what falls due next, and what to pay. Every report is written for the buyer and nobody else: we do not sell, finance or insure the cars we inspect.
A tick-box report would say
Paint: repainted ✓Engine: no error codes ✓Service history: not checkedPapers: RC seen ✓“Good condition.”

What you actually get

Most inspections give you a checklist of ticks. Here is what changes when the report is written to protect the buyer.
  • Paint
    Typical: “Repainted: yes / no”
Thickness and colour match measured on every panel, so you see exactly which ones were redone
  • Engine
    Typical: “No error codes”
How smoothly it runs, how well it breathes, how strong the battery is
  • Service history
Typical: A one-line summary, an extra charge, or nothing
Every dealer visit decoded: accidents, warranty repairs, jobs the owner refused
  • What’s due next
    Typical: Not covered
Overdue service, big jobs falling due, repairs left unfinished
  • Price
    Typical: Sometimes a valuation
What similar cars sell for, and a list of what to ask off and why
  • Papers
    Typical: RC details
Government record matched to the car, VIN plate checked, loan, PUC and challans

Six things only InspektAI shows you

Every example below is a snapshot of a real InspektAI report, exactly as the buyer received it, with their personal details hidden. Tap any one to read it full size.
1. Paint

We measure the paint twice on every panel: thickness and colour.

A paint gauge measures how thick the paint is on each panel; a colorimeter measures its colour against the rest of the car. A respray that is a shade off shows up as a colour mismatch. A perfect colour match still gives itself away in thickness. We print both readings for every panel, so you see for yourself which panels were redone and how much of the car it covers.

2. Engine

We check the engine’s health, like an ECG.

A scan that says “no error codes” only means nothing has failed yet. We also check how evenly the engine runs, how well it breathes and how strong the battery is, which is how a tired engine gets caught before it becomes your problem.
No fault codes stored, so a basic scan passes this car. The running-smoothness check rated it 1 out of 5.
3. Service history

We read the car’s entire service history, in plain words.

Every dealer visit, decoded: when, at what kilometres, and what was done. Accidents, insurance claims, warranty repairs, and the jobs the owner was told about and refused to pay for. Then we check it against the car in front of us.
Thirty dealer visits decoded. Three accident repairs on record, two of them structural.
4. What’s next

We tell you the bills that are coming.

What is overdue, what falls due soon, and what the last owner left undone, including the big jobs that come due with age, not just kilometres. You see the real cost of owning the car, not just its price.
The maker's schedule for this exact engine, set against the last service on record.
5. Price

We tell you what it’s worth and what to ask off.

What similar cars sell for in Bengaluru, and a list of every finding with a reason to ask for money off, or for the work to be done before you pay. Our customers take the report to the table, not just to the decision.
What comparable cars are listed for, then every finding with a suggested cut: ₹38,000 to ₹55,000 in all.
6. Papers

We check the papers match the car.

The VIN plate checked for tampering and the government record matched to the car itself. Plus the loan, insurance, pollution certificate and challans, so nothing stops the transfer after you have paid.
Record matched to the car, loan flagged, pollution certificate missing, no challans. Lender name hidden here.
One real report, page by page

Sixty pages on one 2013 Honda City.

Here are fourteen of them, as the buyer got them on 1 October 2026. We have hidden the plate, the owner, the lender, the insurer, the dealer and the address; nothing else is changed. Tap a page to read it.
Every one of these passed a seller's “clean car” claim

Nine real cars. Nine stories the listing didn't tell.

We did the homework

We read other companies' sample reports. Here is what we found.

In October 2026 we read the public sample reports of 11 car-inspection companies in India, the reports they show buyers to win the booking.
0 of 11
printed a single paint-thickness reading
0 of 11
measured colour match panel by panel
0 of 11
decoded the service history visit by visit
0 of 11
listed the maintenance falling due next
Counted from each company's own published sample report, read on 1 October 2026. We do not name them; read ours below and compare for yourself.

Questions buyers ask

Why does InspektAI cost more than some other inspections?
Because we check more and tell you more. Paint thickness and colour match on every panel, an engine health check, the full service history decoded and a negotiation list take longer than a tick-box report. On a car worth several lakhs, one thing we find usually covers the fee.
Do you sell, finance or insure cars?
No. We do not sell, finance or insure the cars we inspect, and we take nothing from the sale. The report answers only to you.
How long does it take, and when do I get the report?
About 90 to 120 minutes at the car, wherever it is in Bengaluru. The full report reaches you on WhatsApp the same day.
What if the car turns out to be fine?
Then you buy it knowing it is fine, with the maintenance that falls due next already listed. Plenty of our reports say exactly that.
Can I see a full report before I book?
Yes. Seven real reports are published in full, anonymised, with every checkpoint. Read one on a car like yours.
